Flexible working policy (long form)

A policy explaining employees' rights to make flexible working requests, incorporating the statutory scheme and a more informal procedure.

On 30 June 2014 the Children and Families Act 2014 extended the right to request flexible working to all employees, not just those with caring responsibilities (see Drafting note, Legal issues). This policy is compliant with the new law.
