When a trade union makes an application to the Central Arbitration Committee (CAC) for statutory recognition under Schedule A1 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 it must use the form provided by the CAC. This checklist identifies the information the union (or, in a joint application, the unions) will need to complete the CAC's form. The CAC form can be accessed through the CAC's website.
