Nufarm settles FTC charges that its 2008 acquisition of A.H. Marks harmed competition | Practical Law

On 28 July 2010, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that it had reached a settlement with Nufarm Limited relating to its consummated acquisition of UK-based A.H. Marks Holding Limited. Under the terms of the proposed settlement, Australian-based Nufarm will sell rights and assets related to two of its phenoxy herbicides to competitors, and will modify its agreements with two other companies to permit them to compete in the market for the two phenoxy herbicides.
