A clause for a will, making gifts of money (pecuniary legacies) on the death of the survivor of a married couple or civil partners. Options include gifts to individual beneficiaries, joint beneficiaries, each of a class of beneficiaries and to charity, and an index-linked gift. This standard clause can be adapted for any will or codicil.
