The SEC announced it will republish orders stop orders and orders revoking Exchange Act registration on EDGAR.
The SEC announced that on April 19, 2012 it will begin republishing the following orders on EDGAR:
  • Stop orders under Section 8 of the Securities Act, which will appear in a company's filing history as "STOP ORDER."
  • Orders revoking a company's Exchange Act registration under Section 12(j) of the Exchange Act, which will appear in a company's filing history as "REVOKED."
The SEC will initially republish its most recently issued orders and will eventually populate the EDGAR database with orders dating back to 2004. New orders will be published on EDGAR as they are issued.
While these orders are already public and can be found on the SEC's website, republication on EDGAR will allow users to view the orders in the context of a company's filing history.
