Second Circuit

Southern District of New York

Judge Richard M. Berman updated his individual rules of practice and his sentencing submissions. A copy of the previous version of his individual rules is available here.
Judge Paul A. Englemayer revised his individual rules and practices in civil cases.
Judge Jesse M. Furman posted the following new items:
Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein updated his individual practices. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Judge Analisa Torres revised her individual rules of practice in pro se cases. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Third Circuit

District of Delaware

The US District Court for the District of Delaware revised its notice regarding Attorney E-filing of an Initial Pleading in a new Civil or Miscellaneous Case.

District of New Jersey

Judge Tonianne J. Bongiovanni added the following to her Judicial Preferences page:
"Telephone conferences. Judge Bongiovanni does not accept dial-in numbers prior to conference calls. If a dial-in number is necessary, then once all of the attorneys have dialed into a scheduled call, the party initiating the call shall contact chambers and provide the dial-in number at that time."
"Communications with the Court. Judge Bongiovanni permits counsel to email any correspondence that would normally be mailed to chambers to: [email protected]. Short submissions (not more than 20 pages including attachments) may be faxed to chambers at (609) 989-0435. Correspondence should only be submitted to chambers via one method: correspondence mailed to chambers should not also be faxed or emailed; similarly correspondence emailed to chambers should not also be mailed or faxed; and correspondence faxed to chambers should not also be mailed or emailed. Judge Bongiovanni permits communications with her law clerks only as to questions regarding chambers' procedures and not as to any substantive matters."

Sixth Circuit

Eastern District of Tennessee

The court posted a standing order regarding the designation of magistrate judges to hear and determine pretrial matters.

Ninth Circuit

Central District of California

Judge Andrew J. Guilford posted the following:
Judge John A. Kronstadt revised the following:
Judge Alka Sagar added information to her Procedures and Schedules page. She also added the following to the court's Mandatory Chambers Copies on E-Filed Documents page:
"Mandatory chambers copies of all e-filed documents must be delivered to the courtesy box on the 9th floor. It is imperative that mandatory chambers copies be delivered by noon following the date of filing. Failure to deliver timely mandatory chambers copies may result in a delay in hearing a motion or ordering the matter off calendar. Chambers copies do not need to be blue backed. Electronic copies of proposed orders must be e-mailed to the Court at [email protected]. Proposed orders shall be in WordPerfect (preferred) or Microsoft Word format."
Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald added the following to the Mandatory Chambers Copies on E-Filed Documents page:
"A MANDATORY CHAMBERS COPY is required for all filings. The chambers copies shall be delivered to and placed in the drop box outside the entrance to Chambers, Room 1653, by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the first court day after the filing date or on the same day, if priority processing is being requested. The chambers copies shall include tabs to separate exhibits, declarations, etc., where applicable. ALL EXHIBITS TO CHAMBERS COPIES MUST BE TABBED. Each document must be labeled prominently 'CHAMBERS COPY' on the front page and shall have the Notice of Electronic Filing ('NEF') attached to the back of the document. BLUEBACKS ARE NOT REQUIRED. DO NOT PLACE CHAMBERS COPIES IN ENVELOPES."

Western District of Washington

The US District Court for the Western District of Washington updated its Attorney Registration Form for the Electronic Case Filing System.
