First Circuit

District of Rhode Island

The US District Court for the District of Rhode Island issued a general order approving amendments to the local rules, effective December 2, 2013.

Second Circuit

District of Connecticut

The US District Court for the District of Connecticut posted a notice regarding initial discovery protocols for certain employment cases.

Southern District of New York

Judge Katherine B. Forrest updated her individual rules of practice in civil cases. A copy of the previous version is available here.
Judge Richard J. Sullivan updated his case management plan and scheduling order. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Third Circuit

District of Delaware

Judge Gregory M. Sleet updated his patent scheduling order. A copy of the previous version is available here.
Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge posted a standing order for objections filed under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 72 in non-pro se matters.

Sixth Circuit

Western District of Michigan

The US District Court for the Western District of Michigan posted a juror selection plan.
The court also updated its petition for attorney admission form.

Seventh Circuit

Northern District of Illinois

The US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois issued a general order amending Local Rule 5.2 regarding the form of documents filed. The court updated its local rules to reflect this change.

Southern District of Indiana

The US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana updated its ECF policies and procedures manual. A copy of the previous version is available here.
The court also posted a notice that proposed amendments to its local rules have been adopted and will take effect on December 1, 2013.

Eighth Circuit

District of South Dakota

The US District Court for the District of South Dakota announced that the civil and criminal local rules have been updated and are now available on the court's website. Among other changes, D.S.D. Civ. LR 5.1 (2) and D.S.D. Crim. LR 49.1 eliminate the need to file a separate certificate of service when all parties receive notice electronically through the court’s electronic filing system. A certificate of service is still required for any party that does not receive electronic notice.

Ninth Circuit

Central District of California

The US District Court for the Central District of California revised the following forms:

Eastern District of California

Magistrate Judge Stanley A. Boone posted procedures for the use of courtroom technology.

Northern District of California

The US District Court for the Northern District of California revised its ADR certification form.

Southern District of California

The US District Court for the Southern District of California issued a general order amending its Employment Dispute Resolution Plan.

District of Oregon

The US District Court for the District of Oregon posted a standing order regarding confidentiality of the presentence report.

Tenth Circuit

Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit announced that it has updated its local rules, effective January 1, 2014. The Tenth Circuit also posted a redline of the changes.

Eleventh Circuit

Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit posted civil pattern jury instructions.

Southern District of Alabama

The US District Court for the Southern District of Alabama adopted a new disclosure statement form pursuant to Local Rule 3.4.

Southern District of Florida

The US District Court for the Southern District of Florida updated its CM/ECF administrative procedures, effective December 2, 2013, and provided a redline of the changes.
The court also posted a notice regarding public access to civil motions to seal.
