National Crime Agency (NCA) | Practical Law

The NCA is responsible for tackling serious and organised crime in the UK. The NCA's Economic Crime Command attempts to co-ordinate and improve communication between the SFO, FCA and other prosecutors of economic crime. In addition to having law enforcement and civil recovery powers, the NCA is intended to function as a financial intelligence unit and is the central authority for receiving suspicious activity reports in connection with suspected money laundering offences.
