United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA)

Historically, referred to the primary market functions of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) acting in its capacity as the competent authority for the purposes of Part VI (Official Listing) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). The UKLA was also referred to as the UK Listing Authority.
The FCA started phasing out the term in 2017 and announced this in Primary Market Bulletin 20 published in February 2019 (see Legal update, FCA guidance notes: Primary Market Bulletin No 20).
