The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has withdrawn Guidance on professional conduct and home information packs (Guidance). The Guidance was issued by the Law Society's Rules and Ethics Committee as a working draft in August 2006 to assist solicitors with the professional conduct issues that may arise from providing Home Information Packs (HIPs). Solicitors should now consult the relevant sections of the Solicitors' Code of Conduct for guidance on specific issues.
