PLC Arbitration has published an Article, The reform of the Brussels Regulation: a crossroads for arbitration in Europe.

In the article, Andrew Pullen, Senior Associate, Allen & Overy LLP, evaluates recent proposals to amend the Brussels Regulation by abolishing the so-called "arbitration exception". Analysing the legal background to the Brussels Regulation (in particular, the requirements of the New York Convention), he argues in favour of more limited amendments to the Regulation.
