The Insurance Association is the trade association for the insurance industry. Its member companies account for about 95% of the insurance business in Cyprus. The Association aims to represent its members' interests before the government, regulators, parliament and other political and trade bodies, and to promote the concept of insurance generally. The Association is a full member of the Comité Europeén des Assurances as well as of the International Union of Marine Insurance.
