UK government consults on long-term management of plutonium and recommends MOX option

The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) published a consultation on the long-term management of seperated civil plutonium, on 7 February 2011, and recommended using civil plutonium to produce mixed oxide fuel (MOX).
