On 3 March 2011, the General Court handed down its judgments in several appeals brought against a decision of the European Commission which imposed fines on eleven groups of companies for infringing Article 101(1) of the TFEU by participating in an illegal collusive tendering cartel in the market for gas insulated switchgear projects.
