A Practice Note addressing a coverage requirement under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) applicable to group health plans and health insurers that provide dependent coverage for children. Under this requirement, plans and insurers that provide dependent coverage for children must continue to make the coverage available for adult children until age 26.
