On 5 May 2011, the Republic of Moldova deposited with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) an Instrument of Ratification of the ICSID Convention. In accordance with Article 68(2), the Convention will come into force for Moldova on 4 June 2011. This will bring the number of states that have ratified the Convention to 147.
