In Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales v Information Commissioner and another (EA/2011/0148), the First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights) has held that certificates of conviction are covered by the section 32 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 absolute exemption and disclosure is, therefore, at the discretion of the appropriate court.
