Declarant
This term has multiple meanings. In the context of:
Signing a document, a person who signs an unsworn statement or declaration stating, under penalty of perjury, that the information contained in the statement is true. A declarant is different from an affiant, who signs a statement that is sworn to before a notary public or other person authorized to administer oaths.
Hearsay, a person who makes an out-of-court statement.
