A Practice Note discussing implied warranties in a sale of goods transaction under Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). This Note reviews the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, the implied warranties of title and against infringement, as well as implied warranties created by course of dealing and usage of trade. This Note also addresses implied warranty disclaimers.
