The US Copyright Office has issued a final rule amending its regulations to set a fee for correcting inaccuracies in the Office’s online Public Catalog resulting from errors in electronic title lists of 100 or more titles at a rate of $7 per corrected title.
On October 30, 2014, the US Copyright Office issued a final rule amending regulations for submitting electronic title lists of 100 or more titles by setting a fee for corrections to these title lists at a rate of $7 per corrected title (79 Fed. Reg. 68622-01 (Nov. 18, 2014)). The final rule amends 37 CFR part 201. This final rule takes into account comments received from the Copyright Office’s first proposal of the rule in September 2014.
