In Docket No KZR 6/15, the German Federal Court of Justice considered the International Skating Union’s appeal against a Higher Regional Court of Munich’s judgment in which it held that it was competent to decide on German ice speed skater Claudia Pechstein's claim for damages because the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) arbitration agreement violated mandatory antitrust law.
