London Stock Exchange (LSE)
The principal stock exchange in London for equity and bond trading. It is authorised as a UK recognised investment exchange (UK RIE) by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and hosts several markets, including:
- AIM, which is a UK multilateral trading facility (UK MTF) for unlisted securities.
- The Professional Securities Market, which is a UK MTF for listed securities.
Its markets admit shares, and other securities, to trading. The LSE is one of the world’s oldest and largest stock exchanges.
