The Public Offers of Securities Regulations 1995 (SI 1995/1537). Before 1 July 2005, these Regulations applied whenever unlisted securities were offered to the public in the UK for the first time. They included provisions relating to, among other things, when a prospectus is required, the form and contents of a prospectus and supplementary prospectuses.

The POS Regulations were repealed by the Prospectus Regulations 2005 (SI 2005/1433) in connection with the implementation of the Prospectus Directive.
