Approved persons: FCA Statements of Principle and Code of Practice for Approved Persons

An overview of the Statements of Principle issued by the FCA under section 64A(1)(a) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). The Statements of Principle are binding rules relating to the conduct of approved persons. The Code of Practice for Approved Persons is guidance on the Statements of Principle. The Statements of Principle and the Code of Practice are located in the APER module of the FCA Handbook.
