On 25 September 2008, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking comment on proposed revisions to the FTC's Rules of Practice for adjudicative proceedings. The proposed rule revisions are designed to shorten the duration of the proceedings and improve the quality of the adjudicative process.
