An update on changes taking place at the ICDR.
The International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the international division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), has announced the closure of its Dublin office. Mark Appel, Senior Vice President, made the announcement last week in an e-mail to colleagues in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA region). Although Mark's fixed address is now the ICDR office in New York, he will continue to work remotely covering the EMEA region. Mandy Sawier, the ICDR Regional Manager (EMEA), has relocated to the Chicago office.
The AAA/ICDR is currently experiencing its highest caseload ever and has recently opened an office in Bahrain (see Legal update, Bahrain launches new arbitration centre).
