Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy has signed into law Senate Bill 32, increasing Connecticut's current minimum wage to $10.10 by January 1, 2017.
On March 27, 2014, Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy signed into law Senate Bill 32 which will phase in for Connecticut the highest minimum wage of any state.
Under SB 32, Connecticut's current minimum wage, which is currently $8.70 per hour, will increase to $9.15 by January 1, 2015, $9.60 by January 1, 2016 and $10.10 by January 1, 2017.
The new law amends Section 31-58(i) of the Connecticut General Statutes. It becomes effective July 1, 2014.
