DC Circuit

District Court for the District of Columbia

The US District Court for the District of Columbia updated its supplement to the local rules. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Second Circuit

Eastern District of New York

The US District Court for the Eastern District of New York added an administrative order referring certain grand jury matters to magistrate judges.
Judge Pamela K. Chen updated her individual practices and rules. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Third Circuit

District of Delaware

The US District Court for the District of Delaware posted a revised standing order for the district court fund.

Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Judge Gene E.K. Pratter posted a:
  • Template joint report of Rule 26(f) meeting and proposed discovery plan.
  • Notice to counsel on his scheduling and discovery policy.

Fifth Circuit

Western District of Texas

The US District Court for the Western District of Texas posted an amended order assigning the business of the court.

Sixth Circuit

Eastern District of Kentucky

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky added a general order setting forth the assignment of cases district-wide.

Ninth Circuit

Central District of California

Judge Josephine L. Staton revised her initial standing order. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Eastern District of California

The US District Court for the Eastern District of California made an announcement that the court will assign Fresno civil cases to the court's Sacramento Division on a random basis beginning April 1, 2014.

Northern District of California

The US District Court for the Northern District of California updated the San Jose judges' standing order (applicable to Judges Whyte, Koh, Davila, Freeman, Lloyd and Grewal). A copy of the previous version is available here.

Eleventh Circuit

Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit posted revised local rules, effective April 1, 2014, and provided a summary of the changes.
The court also revised its guide to electronic case filing. A copy of the previous version is available here.
Additionally, the court made an announcement that counsel using the ECF system must file appendices electronically, and on paper, in appeals where the briefing notice is issued on or after April 1, 2014.

Middle District of Florida

Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr. revised his order on interested persons and corporate disclosure. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Southern District of Florida

The US District Court for the Southern District of Florida posted an administrative order regarding the partial reassignment of Senior District Judge William M. Hoeveler's cases.
