The 15-cent increase, effective January 1, 2015, raised the state minimum wage to $9.25, $2 more than the federal minimum wage. Only the District of Columbia and Washington have higher minimum wage rates than Oregon. Oregon's minimum wage is adjusted annually based on any increase in the state's consumer price index. In addition, a separate bill would raise the minimum wage rate to $15.00.
