This chapter concerns how digital assets are disposed of or managed in Canada, both at death and on incapacity. It provides an overview of management of digital assets, a description of specific assets such as social media, e-commerce and loyalty points, and the impact of privacy laws. Finally, it provides a series of tables which summarise relevant terms of policy of popular service providers on transferability of digital assets on death.
