The USPTO announced that it will host a stakeholder roundtable to discuss how Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) procedures have changed since its 2007 rulemaking and how stakeholder and Board experiences may shape future TTAB appeal and trial proceedings. • E-mail service and electronic communication with the TTAB.

  • Protective order use.
  • Changes to the Federal Rules, including:
    • limits on number of any length of depositions; and
    • limits on requests for admissions and interrogatories.

  • Ex parte appeals.
