Common land and town and village greens

This practice note explains the regime for the registration and management of common land and town and village greens that was introduced by the Commons Act 2006 (CA 2006).

The CA 2006 is being brought into force in stages, and will eventually repeal the Commons Registration Act 1965 completely.
