Case management: completing an allocation questionnaire

This practice note sets out the main points to consider when you are completing an allocation questionnaire.

IMPORTANT NOTE, following the publication of the Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2013 (SI 2013/262), the allocation questionnaire is replaced by the directions questionnaire  for all claims in which a defence is received on or after 1 April 2013.  For further details, see Article, Case management: the key reforms coming into force in April 2013.  See also Practice note, Case management: an overview. This note has not been updated to reflect the changes to the CPR effective from 1 April 2013.

For information on completing a dirctions questionnaire, see Practice note, Case management: completing a directions questionnaire.
