This checklist summarises the requirements on trustees of occupational pension schemes to put in place arrangements that ensure at least one-third of their number are nominated by the members. It also sets out the steps to be taken to comply with legislation. References in this checklist to member-nominated trustees (MNTs) include references to member-nominated directors (MNDs), for those schemes where there is a corporate trustee.
