The ICC has published Facts and Figures on ICC Arbitration: 2010 Statistical Report.
The International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has published Facts and Figures on ICC Arbitration: 2010 Statistical Report. The ICC Court received 793 new cases in 2010, a slight decrease compared to 817 in 2009. Those cases involved 2,145 parties from 140 countries and in 10% of cases, at least one of the parties was a state or parastatal entity. The ICC also gave 478 awards in 2010. The full statistical report will be published later in the year in the ICC International Court of Arbitration Bulletin Vol 22/1 (2011).
ICSID also recently published its 2010 statistics, see Legal update, ICSID publishes statistics.
The new figures will be added to PLC Arbitration's Institutional statistics table shortly (see Checklist, Institutional statistics).
