The ICSID Secretariat has published Issue 2012-2 of ICSID Caseload: Statistics. This issue provides an overview of cases registered or otherwise administered by ICSID as of 30 June 2012. In the first half of 2012, 21 new cases were registered at ICSID (15 under the ICSID Convention, four under the ICSID Additional Facility Rules and two conciliation cases). In the fiscal year (1 July 2011 - 30 June 2012), 39 cases were registered (31 under the ICSID Convention, five under the ICSID Additional Facility Rules and three conciliation cases).

As with previous issues, the document provides a detailed breakdown of the cases handled by ICSID, including the basis of consent for ICSID jurisdiction, the geographical distribution of cases by state party and the economic sectors involved in cases. The document also contains interesting data on the outcomes of ICSID proceedings and annulment proceedings under the ICSID Convention.
