On 30 October 2012, the European Commission published amicus curiae observations that it has submitted to the Belgian Constitutional Court under Article 15(3) of Regulation 1/2003 in a case concerning the question whether or not fines imposed by the Commission can be wholly or partially deductible from taxes.
