Mexico joined the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement concerning the International Registration of Marks on November 9, 2012. The Madrid Protocol will enter into force in Mexico on February 19, 2013. Mexico is the 89th member and the third Latin American country to join the Madrid trademark filing system.
