On 8 February 2013, the Local Authority (Public Health, Health and Wellbeing Boards and Health Scrutiny) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/218) were made and will come into force from 1 April 2013. The regulations detail how local authorities should carry out their duties over Health and Wellbeing Boards, the community right to challenge public health services, health scrutiny and the National Child Measurement Programme.
