A Practice Note examining the available methods to request discovery located outside the US for use in US litigation. This Note specifically addresses the issues counsel must consider when requesting discovery abroad through traditional US discovery methods under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) or the Hague Convention on the Taking of Evidence Abroad in Civil or Commercial Matters (Hague Evidence Convention or HCCH 1970 Evidence Convention).
