The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued a correction of its February 14, 2013 final rules implementing the first-inventor-to-file provisions of the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (AIA).
On March 13, 2013, the USPTO issued a correction of its final rules concerning the first-inventor-to-file provisions of the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act. Due to a technical error, the final rules were published on February 14, 2013 with missing text in provisions concerning priority claims to a foreign application in an application filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty. The document corrects the final rule.
