On 15 April 2013, the European Commission published its first Report on statistics on trafficking in human beings, covering the years 2008 to 2010. It includes statistics on the total number of victims disaggregated by gender, age and form of exploitation and statistics on victims' citizenship and type of assistance and protection received.
