The new HKIAC Arbitration Rules and how they compare to other institutional rules | Practical Law
The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) introduced new HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules (new HKIAC Rules), which came into force on 1 November 2013. This article compares the new HKIAC Rules to other international commercial arbitration rules, including the ICC Rules, the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC Rules), the UNCITRAL Rules of Arbitration (UNCITRAL Rules) and the American Arbitration Association (International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR)) International Arbitration Rules (ICDR Rules).
