US Supreme Court

The US Supreme Court has posted a Guide For Counsel in cases to be argued before the Court.

Second Circuit

Eastern District of New York

The US District Court for the Eastern District of New York posted an updated Civil Event List for CM/ECF filing purposes.

Southern District of New York

Judge Ronnie Abrams updated her Individual Rules and Practices in Criminal Cases. A copy of the previous version is available here.
Judge Katherine B. Forrest updated her Individual Practices in Civil Cases. A copy of the previous version is available here.
Judge Paul G. Gardephe updated his:

Fifth Circuit

Western District of Louisiana

The US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana posted a notice stating that it will only provide electronic, not paper, copies of the record on appeal to parties preparing appellate briefs.

Eastern District of Texas

Sixth Circuit

Western District of Michigan

The US District Court for the Western District of Michigan posted a notice regarding an approved amendment to the local criminal rules.

Northern District of Ohio

The US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio added a subsection to Local Civil Rule 3.13, and provided a redline of the changes.

Southern District of Ohio

The US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio posted new per diem rates for travel-related expenses:
  • For the Cincinnati courthouse, the rate increased from $174 to $183.
  • For the Columbus courthouse, the rate increased from $150 to $155.
  • For the Dayton courthouse, the rate increased from $138 to $143.

Eastern District of Tennessee

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee updated its CM/ECF Rules and Procedures. A copy of the previous version is available here.
The court also posted a new Standing Order regarding electronic filing of documents.

Eighth Circuit

District of Minnesota

The US District Court for the District of Minnesota posted new rates of juror subsistence payments for individuals from various parts of the state, for the period spanning October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014:
  • Minneapolis: $204 per day.
  • St. Paul: $204 per day.
  • Duluth:
    • $162 per day from October 1 through October 31;
    • $144 per day from November 1 though May 31;
    • $162 per day from June 1 through September 30.
  • Fergus Falls: $129 per day.
  • Rochester: $159 per day.
  • Dakota County: $142 per day.
  • All other areas of the state: $129 per day.

Western District of Missouri

The US District Court for the Western District of Missouri posted an updated CM/ECF User's Guide. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Ninth Circuit

Central District of California

The US District Court for the Central District of California posted a notice regarding a new Civil Case Opening Pilot Project, and also posted a General Order regarding the project.
The court also updated its Instructions for Filing a Civil Action by a Non-Prisoner, and posted a Civil Action by a Non-Prisoner Packet that provides further instructions.
Judge Beverly Reid O'Connell updated her:
Magistrate Judge Jean P. Rosenbluth updated her Procedures and Schedules, noting that when no reporter cite is available for a case, parties should cite to Westlaw rather than LexisNexis.

Eastern District of California

Magistrate Judge Stanley A. Boone updated his Civil Pre-Trial and Trial Procedures and Deadlines.

Northern District of California
