Listing Principles

Two, high-level enforceable principles in Listing Rule 7 that apply to every listed company requiring it to:
  • Take reasonable steps to establish and maintain adequate procedures, systems and controls to enable the listed company to comply with its obligations.
  • Deal with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in an open and co-operative manner.
The Listing Principles are designed to assist companies with a premium listing or a standard listing in identifying their obligations and responsibilities under the Listing Rules (LR), the disclosure requirements, the transparency rules and the corporate governance rules. A company with a premium listing is also subject to the Premium Listing Principles.
