Service: meaning of "usual or last known residence"

An update on Relfo Limited (in liquidation) v Varsani [2009] EWHC 2297 (Ch), in which the court considered service within the meaning of CPR 6.9(2).

Note: The defendant's appeal against this decision was dismissed by the Court of Appeal on 27 May 2010 (see Varsani v Relfo Limited (in liquidation) [2010] EWCA Civ 560).
