The First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights), upholding the Information Commissioner's decision, has ruled that an e-mail by the council's employee to another employee reporting a conversation with a third party was exempt from disclosure under the exemption for third party confidentiality in section 41(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
