The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has announced a new online search tool for the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP).
On September 14, 2012, the USPTO announced the release of a new online search tool for the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP). The new tool works like an internet search engine and includes the following features:
- Search results ranked by relevance.
- Search terms highlighted in the body of the document.
- The ability to print or export sections to PDF.
- Easier navigation in the MPEP with a table of contents and a search box.
