European Commission response to House of Lords EU Select Committee report indicates mid-2014 implementation date for MiFID II | Practical Law

The European Commission has sent a letter responding to the report of Sub-Committee A of the House of Lords EU Select Committee on the Commission's legislative proposals to amend the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (2004/39/EC) (MiFID), known as MIFID II. This states that the Commission would like to see MiFID II enter into force from mid-2014.

The European Commission has sent a letter responding to the report of Sub-Committee A of the House of Lords EU Select Committee on the Commission's legislative proposals to amend the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (2004/39/EC) (MiFID), known as MIFID II.
