A sample covenant not to sue. This Standard Document may be used as part of the settlement of a threatened or ongoing patent litigation. It may also be used as the basis for the patent owner to divest the court of jurisdiction over any noninfringement declaratory judgment action the alleged infringer filed. This may occur where the patent owner wishes to prevent or terminate the patent litigation.
